Jennifer Kate Hudson (born September 12, 1981) is an American actress and singer. She first gained notice as one of the finalists on the third season of the FOX television series American Idol. She went on to star as Effie White in the 2006 motion picture adaptation of the musical Dreamgirls for which she won numerous awards including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and a SAG Award.
Jennifer Hudson Album Cover Under Scrutiny for Photoshop
Jennifer Hudson is under heavy scrutiny after her album cover hit the internet. The former American Idol contestant appears much thinner on the cover that she does in a recent picture at The Black Ball in the U.K.
Sources have denied that Hudson’s photo was retouched using photo shop. “She has a thin waist,” the insider insists.
Meanwhile, Hudson says she plans to begin promoting her self-titled album. “I got to get out there and meet the people and the fans. To me that is the best feeling in the word,” she said.
The first single from the album has been released and is title ‘Spotlight.’
