Yes, of course it’s fake. Good lord. Do people not watch baseball on TV anymore? In 25 years, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sequence of camera angles starting here around :22 with the field-level close shot of the ballgirl. Let alone the unlikely, melodramatic, frozen-in-place reactions of the catcher and outfielder.
Even so, it’s marginally cooler than the “Kobe jumps the speeding car” fake, if only because nothing he does can be considered fully cool anymore following the apocalyptic diss of “tell me how my ass tastes.”
