Hudson River :US Plane Crash photos
The plane which went down shortly after takeoff, was travelling from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte, North Carolina. Preliminary reports indicate that the Airbus was forced to make an emergency landing after both engines failed. This may have resulted from a collision with a flock of geese shortly after takeoff. The federal National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
