Chaz Shepherd Promotes New Album on Steve Harvey Radio Show

Chaz Shepherd performed songs from his brand new album while on the Steve Harvey Radio Show on Friday.

Shepherd, who co-starred with Harvey on the show "Me and The Boys", reunited with Harvey on his show to promote his new album, "The First One".

Shepherd, whose full name is Chaz Lamar Shepherd, was born in Philadelphia and began singing in church and at major events in the city. In 1993, Chaz won the 1993 Star Search champion title and a $100,000 prize. In 1997, he signed his first recording contract with Atlantic Records.

Shepherd has appeared in several shows since "Me and The Boys", such as "The Game," "Touched By An Angel," and "Seventh Heaven". He made his Broadway debut with his role in Oprah Winfrey's The Color Purple.
